BUSINESS PROCESS SERVICES FOR MANUFACTURING
In conjunction with our partner, Vital Flo based in Hungary, ICPR 1200 Limited offers a range of critical business
process services to the manufacturing sector.
These services can be conducted in a number of languages.
MANUFACTURING FOR THE FUTURE
It is now widely recognised across industry that manufacturing is undergoing a huge change. At ICPR 1200 Limited,
we do not see this as a step change, and hence the term 'Manufacturing for the Future' rather than the often used
'Industry 4.0', but whichever term industry deems appropriate, it is true to say that adapting to this 'evolution' will be
A key element to delivering this evolution, is ensuring manufacturers understand their current status, their supply
chain, where immediate wins can be gained through existing solutions, and what will be the critical information they
will need to develop their strategy going forward.
THIS WILL NOT BE A ONE SIZE FITS ALL SOLUTION.
The services will be as follows:
Zoltan is a business consultant with Vital Flo
(Hungary). He is a procurement expert with 10
year professional experience in the manufacturing
and telecommunication industry.
József is a Process Engineer with Vital Flo
(Hungary) and an Assistant Lecturer at the
University of Debrecen. He is our lead Business
Paul is a qualified Project Manager and Director
with ICPR 1200 Limited (UK). He has developed
our Industry 4.0 Implementation Programme, and
delivered (in conjunction with Japan based
affiliate partner Shinichi Ogata) the Business
Value Programme for Cisco in Japan.
|Our Team will be growing, and we will be covering all territories,
so if you are an independent and qualified professional that can
undertake these services (and possibly other related processes)
and wish to be considered to be part of the team, feel free to
In the development of these services, it has been noted that
some organisations look toward considerations on a
Naturally departments are obliged to ensure the performance of
their unit, but we do strongly suggest that Business Process
services will only obtain maximum added value if the
organisation as a whole takes part.
It is also the case that a truly connected and efficient
manufacturing facility will be much more capable of delivering
competitive advantage and added value in this evolution if the
supply chain is also brought in wherever possible.
So this is not something to fear, it would be no real difference to
working together on a 'Just in Time' system.
From the graphic on the left, it may be noted that we use the term
'Complimentary Technology', rather than the commonly utilised
Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality or Artificial Intelligence. The
simple reason for this being that it may well be the case that
such technology is not needed. It depends entirely on the value
The key to Industry 4.0 is developing a safe, information based
system so that Lean Principles can be driven by factual data,
rather than optimisation formed of opinion.
BILL OF PROCESS
This is the key method of identifying what a manufacturing
organisation needs to develop a unique Industry 4.0 bespoke
All manufacturers either do, or should have, a Bill of Process to
ensure a consistency of product, but ICPR 1200 Limited believes
this documentation should be an integrated, organisation wide
set of processes, with financial information included at every
step and stage.
Such methodology allows for greater simulation capability, and if
the Platform is built in a manner that will allow for discreet
simulation across the company, it will be much easier to identify
any benefits or unintended consequences.
Armed with granular information like this, any company will be
able to determine proof of business for any considered
technology and programmes with greater speed and accuracy.
FULL LIFE CYCLE
Developing a connected factory should be considered along the
lines of connectivity across the life cycle of a product.
Initial progress will naturally be based around the key production
facilities and assembly centres, but as described previously,
integration of the supply chain should be undertaken
With connectivity comes traceability, so this will enable
manufacturers to initiate programmes that will include
dealerships, after sales service partners and then above all
consumers, to gather data and learn lessons on a continual
basis in order to maximise quality through the full life cycle.
Added value with this kind of development will be based on
suitable analysis, but areas that can be identified at this stage
include cost savings in warranties.
There are a number of manufacturers, for example automotive,
which maintain Connected Technology and Intelligent Transport
Divisions. These Divisions will be able to feed the data they can
gather back into the company more effectively with a system that
can utilise the data across all other relevant Divisions.
There are a number of programmes that can be run in addition
to those which ICPR 1200 Limited will be running, and we are
happy to bring in partners to fulfill such. In this we include
technology providers who will be able to prove their technologies.
This method of business is also a critical element of Industry 4.0
as it is based on COLLABORATION.
Example programmes might be:
CIRCULAR VALUE CHAIN MODELS (Inc. Remanufacturing)
END OF LIFE PROCESSES
Technologies might be:
3D PRINTING (ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING)
ICPR 1200 Limited will be keeping our partners in these areas
of development current, so as to advise the best possible source
